Ever since I was a little girl I loved hanging out with my Grandma. I loved watching her sew. Whether she was doing a simple repair or making a full quilt, watching the needle bounce up and down was mesmerizing. I regret never having her teach me to sew.
Now, as an adult, and a Grandma myself, I own a serger I don’t know how to use and a sewing machine with a broken bobbin winder. But I won’t be discouraged. I’m determined to learn how to sew so I can pass this skill on to my grandchildren.
